Robert Bajko
AIA, LEED® AP ID+C
As a partner of Hengst Streff Bajko Architects + Engineers Bob Bajko combines his years of experience in commercial construction and tenant improvement with extensive knowledge of the LEED® certification process. In the past three years Bob has been involved is high profile LEED® projects in the US and internationally which have achieved Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Certified levels. He also maintains a LEED® specialization in Interior Design and Construction (ID+C), and has led several LEED® for Commercial Interiors projects including a recent GSA office space pursuing LEED® Gold certification. Throughout Bob’s career he has maintained a constant focus on client involvement and education. Each LEED® project begins with educating clients and members of the project team, as well as learning from the experience of other disciplines.

Susann Geithner
LEED® AP BD+C & EB O+M
Susann Geithner is Director of Sustainability at Hengst Streff Bajko Architects & Engineers (HSB), a local company, which works national and in Europe. Design and consulting for LEED™ is Susann’s focus. She has been working on over 15 LEED® projects including LEED® NC,CS, CI, EBOM, Mid‐Rise and was leading the certification of the first LEED® CS Platinum building under version 2009 located in Munich, Germany. Her most currently project is the LEED® certification for 1.7 million square feet mixed-use building at Frankfurt airport. Within the states she works with corporate clients to make their space more sustainable and LEED® certify it. CIGNA insurance’s first LEED® project, now LEED® CI Silver v2, not just earned the Energy Star, it also reduced energy consumption by 25%,saving $45,000 per year for a 100,000 sq. ft. space. The GSA repeatedly compliments her work for exceeding their expectations.
As Guest Expert on LEEDUser.com she lends her expertise to other LEED® APs. Susann was speaker at the Virginal Marti College and for educational workshops hold by the NEOGBC. In Germany she has been educating architectural and engineering companies as well as real estate owners and managers about LEED® such as BMW, IVG, Bilfinger Berger, Iproplan and HochTief. She also contributed content and editorial advise to the booklet “LEED® in Germany” produced by Alpha EE, Bamberg Germany, a partner company of HSB Architects & Engineers.
